Title
English: Grand Sable Dunes are a perched dune
Description
English:

Shows a steep rough surfaced sand, clay, and vegetated dune face. There are horizontal ridges visible. The beach is very narrow. A calm Lake Superior is at the base.

The Grand Sable Dunes are the best example of a perched dune system in the world. Perched dunes are those that form on top of an existing coastal bluff.
