Description

I haven't had the pleasure of putting up a Poole shot for some time and today I can put up a cracker! Grange Terrace with its children assembled outside the doors of the nearer houses on a wet day looks so welcoming. The skyline looks familiar but I am not sure from what direction we are looking at it? Could there be a dog, or two?

Today's contributors confirm that this image was very likely taken around 1913. We also learned about the origin of the name of the terrace - and a little on the colourfully named streets nearby (Ballytruckle Rd, Poleberry Rd, and other parts of Grange townland). We're delighted that the terrace (and it's impressive plaque) stands largely as it was....
