Summary[edit]

Description Indian Great Cormorant Phalacrocorax carbo by Elizabeth Gwillim. Note: although headline titled "Indian Shag Phalacrocorax fuscicollis", the McGill source link states Inscriptions read: "94" at top left, on back of painting: "No 131 - Pelecanus Carbo." - i.e., Phalacrocorax carbo. The bird depicted is also clearly P. carbo from the head and bill structure.
