| Description |
Deutsch: Der Große Röthepfuhl ist im Mittelalter als Gewässer zur natürlichen Teichrotte bei der Flachsbearbeitung benutzt worden. Bis 1930 baute man westlich des Pfuhls Mergel ab (ein Gemenge aus Ton und fein verteiltem Kalk, mit dem unergiebige Böden gedüngt werden). Heute ist er von einem Gehölzgürtel umgeben, verfügt über dichte Röhricht- und Unterwasserpflanzenbestände und ist als Amphibien-Laichgewässer von Bedeutung. |
