Description

c/n A-11956. US Navy Bureau No 94204. Displayed statically at several museums from 1959 to 1986, this Hellcat then joined the Lone Star Flight Museum and was restored to fly, her first post-restoration flight being in May 1989. In October 2017 she moved on to the Erikson Aircraft Collection at Madras, Oregon. She is seen here on display at her previous home with the Lone Star Flight Museum at Galveston, Texas, United States. 18th March 2017

Note: Although marked as N17VF this registration has never been allocated to this airframe and she is actually still N4998F
