Description	English: A U.S. Navy Grumman S2F-1 Tracker (BuNo 136747) from Anti-Submarine Squadron 31 (VS-31) "Topcats" is launched from the aircraft carrier USS Wasp (CVS-18), in 1961. A Douglas AD-5W Skyraider of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 12 (VAW-12) Det.48 "Bats" is visible in the foreground. Both squadrons were assigned to Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 52 (CVSG-52) aboard the Wasp for a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea from 9 June to 1 September 1961.
