Description A U.S. Navy Grumman S2F-1 Tracker (BuNo 147558) from Anti-Submarine Squadron 38 (VS-38) "Red Griffins" in flight with its magnetic anomaly detector extended. VS-38 was assigned to Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 59 (CVSG-59) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Bennington (CVS-20) for a deployment to the Western Pacific from 7 January 25 July 1962.
