Description
English: Writing chest ornamented with inlaid mother-of-pearl and Persian verses, work of Sheyh Muhammad Munshi Ghaznavi, Gujarat, 1587. Part of a writing set made by the same craftsman that is currently held at the Freer Gallery of Art in Washington. Benaki Museum of Islamic Art.
