Summary[edit]

Description
Eesti: Skaneeriva elektronmikroskoobiga tehtud pildil on näha, kuidas elektrokeemilise sadestamise meetodil on roostevabast terasele kasvatatud nõelakujulised hüdroksüapatiidi kristallid. Antud pildil olevad hüdroksüapatiidi kiristallid on sadestatud Tartu Ülikooli Füüsika Instituudi Kiletehnoloogia laboris.
English: This scanning electron microscope picture visualizes needle-like hydroxyapatite crystals on stainless steel. Hydroxyapatite is important mineral for human organism and also chemically similar to the inorganic component of bone matrix. Due to its bio-compatibility and bio-activity, synthetic hydroxyapatite and coatings made of it are perfect for bio-medical applications.
