RA center: 202.481° DEC center: 47.225° Messier 51 also called The Whirlpool Galaxy (NGC 5194) is an interacting spiral galaxy in the constellation Canes Venatici. It was the first to be classified as a spiral galaxy. It is estimated to be 23 ± 4 million light-years from us.

HD 117815 is an A5 pulsting variable star.
