Description
English: PHILIPPINE SEA (May 24, 2019) — Royal Australian Navy guided-missile frigate HMAS Parramatta (FFH 154), right, Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) destroyer JS Ariake (DD 109), center, and JMSDF destroyer JS Asahi (DD 119) steam into formation during Pacific Vanguard (PACVAN). PACVAN is the first of its kind quadrilateral exercise between Australia, Japan, Republic of Korea, and U.S. Naval forces.
