| Description |
English: One of several ship's boats of HSwMS Fylgia (Swedishː Fylgias låringsbåt) in the Rindö annex of the National Maritime Museum of Sweden. Two of the ship's lifeboats hung in cleats on the aft deck, at the stern - the boat shown in the picture was one of them. She has room for 12 rowers and according to the sign at the stern, she can take a maximum of 31 passengers, including the 12 rowers. For sailing there is a two-masted logger rig. HSwMS Fylgia was an armored cruiser of the Swedish Navy, launched in 1905 and in service until 1953. The cruiser was primarily used as a training ship for naval cadets. |
