RT 190 at the then infamous Palace Pavillion (sic) nightclub at Lea Bridge Roundabout. Behind the bus, St James's church. To the left was once upon a time the manufactory of Haws Watering Cans before it moved to Bishops Stortford at the "Clapton Works" in the 1920s. The Palace Pavillion was an early picture house - a second one was located a few doors away right on the roundabout. Since its closure, the body bag count, often the result of visits from out of the borough, has dropped drastically. The day's running was along these routes Timetables here The [1]38A was operated. |
