| Description |
English: Hadrian's Wall National Trail and the Vallum At this point, Hadrians Wall National Trail which runs 84 miles from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend. http://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/hadrianswall/ follows the Vallum, the extensive set of earthworks on the south side of Hadrian's Wall. The buildings in the middle distance are those of Haltwhistle Golf Club. The Trail continues eastwards to climb Greenhead Bank in the distance. |
