English: Hadrian's Wall National Trail west of Limestone Corner Looking west along Hadrians Wall National Trail which runs 135 km from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend http://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/hadrianswall/ To the left is the post-Roman Military Road, B6318 Chollerford to Greenhead road which here runs along the line of the Roman Wall. Between the road and the trail is part of the ditch which dates from Roman times and which flanked the Wall on the north side. |
