| Description |
English: Haigh Foundry gateposts According to Mike Bradley, who worked at the foundry for 29 years and at least 6 generations of his family have worked in the foundries on this site, the gateposts were cast (they are hollow and made from cast iron) at Haigh Foundry which was located just through them. The building on the left of the post was the time office for workers clocking on. There is also a matching set of posts where the path from Haigh plantations enters the foundry cottages |
