Both blown and hit rhythmically
with sticks, these trumpets were
repainted yearly with colors
symbolic of Vodou spirits calld
upon during Rara processionals.

konpa's electric guitar sound radiated
the Caribbean. Leading artist Dadou
Pasquet today plays the lightweight,
elegantly designed Parker Fly.
