עברית: תשובה הלכתית בנידון עגונה מהעיר שטארנאביל [טשרנוביל] שעסקו בה הגאון והאדמו"ר רבי מרדכי דב מהראנסטייפל [חתנו של האדמו"ר בעל ה'דברי חיים' מצאנז] ורבי מאיר האלובשטיק מו"ץ בטשרנוביל. בתחילת התשובה מובא תיאור מדוייק של המקרה, רבי חיים ברלין דן באריכות ומפלפל בדבר הלכה למעשה, כשהתשובה מחולקת לעשרה סעיפים. למסקנא פוסק רבי חיים ברלין שהוא מצטרף לדעת רבי מרדכי דב מהראנסטייפל להתיר את העגונה, ובתנאי שיצטרף עמם רב שלישי מהמפורסמים שבדור. לאחר חתימת רבי חיים, בהמשך הדף נכתבה תשובה מרבי משה נחום ירושלימסקי בכתב ידו ובחתימת ידו, בה הוא מצטרף להיתר. התשובה החשובה שלפנינו נדפסה בספריהם של שני המשיבים, בספר נשמת חיים ובספר באר משה.
