Summary[edit]

Description
English: This is a Wigner distribution of a particular equilibrium mixed state in an anharmonic potential well. Entropy is 3.739*k.

It is the equilibrated counterpart of the dynamic motion seen below, i.e., it is what would be obtained by time-averaging that motion. This image was generated using the same source code as that animation, see File:Hamiltonian flow quantum.webm.
