The Hampton Inn. A Shepherd Neame pub on the seafront west of Herne Bay, close to Hampton Pier. On the opposite side of the road is a shelter. The previous shelter (which burnt down) featured as a bus shelter in local author Will Scott's book, Half Term Trail. Shepherd Neame "Britain's Oldest Brewer", Shepherd Neame is an English regional brewery founded in 1698 by Richard Marsh in Faversham, Kent, from where they still brew. Shepherd Neame have over 360 pubs in Kent, London, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and Essex. |
