Description
English: Harnham water meadows, Harnham, Wiltshire, Great Britain. These water meadows between the two branches of the River Nadder have been managed for centuries. Here a ridge and furrow system can be seen, to allow water to drain into the ditches whilst keeping productive ground slightly above the floodplain.
