Description |
English: Typed letter, black text on white paper. Bruns Monumental Company 2311 Two Notch Road U.S. Highway No 1 Columbia, South Carolina July 13, 1963 Mr. Kittridge A. Wing United States Department of the Interior National Park Service Gettysburg, Pennsylvania Dear Mr. Wing: With regards to your letter of July 11, 1963. I cannot give you the exact cost of these memorials, however, I will say the approximate cost of each would be $20,000.00. I was very disappointed that you were unable to attend the dedication of the South Carolina Memorial as I had wanted to introduce you to our Governor and a few other people who I had told about you being so kind to us while at Gettysburg. Give my regards to Mr. Sollenberger and again thank you both for everything. Respectfully yours, Harry V. Connolly HVC/jt
