| Description |
English: Haymarket Station, Edinburgh While the track layout at Edinburgh Waverley station was being remodelled during 2007, it was necessary to terminate some trains from Fife at Haymarket. An additional dead-end platform was provided on the north side of the latter station and, to avoid renumbering the existing four platforms, given the unusual number "0". A Class 170 diesel unit is seen approaching the platform. By 2011 this scene will have changed again as Edinburgh's trams will occupy the space between the fence and the office blocks to the right. |
