Summary[edit]

Description Met a 75 year old man who was biking up to the top of Washington Pass from Winthrop. He rode up the pass and then back down to his camp at the KOA in Winthrop. Drove to Winthrop from Spokane several days earlier. He often drives to the base of a pass and then rides his light weight bike up the hill. Washington Pass is a favorite. Not bad for 75. He rode along side me for a while talking and then sped up past me. I had more weight, of course. Then he waved at me on his way down.
