| Description |
English: Helpston Station (remains). View SW, towards Peterborough; ex-Midland (Leicester) - Manton - Peterborough secondary main line, here running parallel with ex-Great Northern East Coast Main Line (ECML) (Peterborough North - Grantham section). Helpston Station closed on 6/6/66. On the ECML, on which Helpston signalbox seems to have been still in use in 1995, an Down IC225 electric express is speeding by and an Up IC225 is rapidly receding into the distance. |
