Description |
English: Portrait of Henriette Julie de Dufort de Duras (1696-1779), comtesse d’Egmont. She is depicted in a country outfit, her hair held up by a bandage, wearing a basket of summer fruits. She was the wife of Procope-Marie-Antonin-Philippe-Charles-Nicolas-Augustin Pignatelli, comte d'Egmont. The painting, owned by her daughter Henriette-Nicole Pignatelli d'Egmont (1719-1782), duchesse de Chevreuse, by family transmission until the 2018 sale, remained at the castle of Dampierre family property since the late eighteenth century.
