Description
Deutsch: Laberweinting, Hofkirchen 77, katholische Pfarrkirche St. Peter erbaut 1863/64. Der Kreuzaltar wurde 1959 im Rahmen einer umfassenden Kirchenrenovierung anstelle eines neuromanischen Altars aus der Erbauungszeit errichtet. Christus ist von einem ovalen Strahlenkranz mit vier barocken Leuchterengeln umgeben. Der Kreuzbalken wurde von der Zimmerei Roider aus Weichs gefertigt. Der lebensgroße Korpus aus der Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts stammt aus der 1935 abgebrochenen Kirche Mariä Himmelfahrt in Neufahrn (Niederbayern), da er stilistisch und räumlich nicht in den Neubau von 1938 passte. Die Seitenfiguren Johannes und Maria wurden 1959 im Rahmen der Kirchenrenovierung mit weiteren älteren aber restaurierten Figuren zugekauft.
Über das Entstehungsjahr der sicherlich älteren Figuren oder deren früheren Standort konnte nichts mehr in Erfahrung gebracht werden. Unterlagen sind nicht vorhanden. Der damalige Pfarrer J. K. ließ keine Kirchenrechnung führen, sondern sammelte von Haus zu Haus in der gesamten Pfarrei und bezahlte alle Anschaffungen und Arbeitslöhne aus einer Zigarrenkiste in bar.
