Summary[edit]
DescriptionHog Gill Hole - geograph.org.uk - 666499.jpg |
English: Hog Gill Hole The origins of this hole are unclear. It is a hole to the side of Hog Gill in a region where lead was mined in vertical shafts. It has no spoil around it so it probably isn't a mining feature, however. On the other hand, it isn't an obvious sink hole though it may be a shake hole I suppose. |
