During August 2021, cycle lanes were revamped on the section between Ings Road and Saltshouse Road in both directions. This image illustrates the cycle lane opposite the junction with Marfleet Lane. At this point, there is kerb-side parking, a door-opening zone, and the cycle lane which is separated from the vehicular lane not only by road markings but also by posts at regular intervals. Such posts are spaced such that vehicles can move between them to facilitate parking.
