Holistic Resource Management Class

February 27-28 SDSU Pierre Regional Center 412 Missouri Ave., Pierre, SD

TIME: 10-6 p.m. Instructor will be Joshua Dukart, certified educator of holistic management from North Dakota. He is a member of the Burleigh County Soil Conservation District Team in Bismarck, ND. For more background visit: www.bcscd.com/hm. Class discussion will cover:

  • goal setting
  • decision making
  • understanding the triple bottomline
  • discovering useful tools
  • understanding land function
  • cover basics on how the financial and biological planning processes tie into decision making.

Holistic Management is about balancing family, resources and finances to achieve a desirable quality of life. Attendees are encouraged to bring other members of their management “team”. The class will cost $100.00 per person, $50.00 per additional person per enterprise. A $25 deposit is due upon registration. Cost will include a binder of written material for each participant and lunch each day. For more information and to register call (605) 773-8120.
