Description
Nederlands: Kei met de 'voetstap van de duivel' bij de driesprong van de Hoofdweg met de Krewerderweg in Holwierde Volgens een legende werd de steen voor de kerstening van het gebied geofferd aan de goden, maar na de kerstening niet meer. De duivel zou daarop op een nacht zijn langsgekomen en uit kwaadheid wegens het in onbruik raken van de steen gestampvoet hebben op de steen, zodat er sindsdien een voetafdruk in staat. Gelovige mensen zouden de steen vervolgens hebben omgekeerd om de voetafdruk te verbergen. Na eeuwen zo te hebben gelegen werd de steen in de jaren dertig weer omgedraaid en sindsdien is de voetafdruk weer zichtbaar.
