Description
English: "Laupatay Chingri" is a traditional and ancient food of Bengali. It is made in a interesting way. At first fresh prones are mixed with mustered paste, salt, turmeric, raw mustered oil poppyseed and coconut paste and chili paste then the whole thing need to be folded in leaf of Laupata(Lagenaria siceraria) and left for steam for 15 hours. Now unfold the dish and serve with hot steamed rice and relish.
