500px provided description: It was *so* windy that day and there was sand everywhere. The wind came up the cliffs and blew sand right into my face as I was crawling towards the edge. So naturally I was a bit worried about my equipment as I held the camera over the edge but luckily it took no real damage. I used live view so I didn't have to look through the view finder and could move it further away from me, in order to not have as much of the edge in the foreground of the picture.
