English: Hotel Meridien. (Till end of 2015) The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest since 2016. Allegorical statues on the building wall: 'Man with locomotive' (warranty), 'Woman with box', 'Mercur' (cargo insurance), 'Woman with jug', 'Man with goose', 'Woman with valuables' (dowry insurance), 'Woman figure' , 'St. Florian'. 'the yarn cutting Parka', 'Wound banding man'. All destroyed and they are remodelled in 2001-2003 by Sándor Rétfalvi and István Fáskerti. - Ferenc Deák Square, Erzsébet Square, Budapest District V., Hungary Magyar: Hotel Meridien homlokzati szobrai közül a Deák Ferenc tér felőli a szállítmánybiztosítás (Mercur, Ligeti Miklós). - Alkotók (eredetileg) Rétfalvi Sándor, Telcs Ede, Ligeti Miklós, Fáskerti István (1913). Puciscei márvány. A többi biztosítás ágazatait szimbolizáló szobor az üvegbiztosítás (nő korsóval, Telcs Ede); az Erzsébet téri oldalon a betörésbiztosítás (férfi libával, Telcs Ede), a hozománybiztosítás (nő értéktárgyakkal, Ligeti Miklós), a jégbiztosítás (nőalak, Telcs Ede) és a tűzbiztosítás (Szt. Flórián, Telcs Ede) szobra; a Miatyánk utca felől a fonalat vágó Párka (életbiztosítás, Ligeti Miklós) és a sebét kötöző férfi (baleset biztosítás, Telcs Ede) díszíti az épületet. A jelenlegi szobrok 2001-2003 között készültek Rétfalvi Sándor és Fáskerti István kőfaragó által. Az épület: az Adria biztosító székházának épült; jelenleg szálloda. (Hotel Meridien, korábban ebben az épületben működött a Budapesti Rendőr-főkapitányság) Tőry Emil, Pogány Móric építészek tervei alapján, 1913-ban készült. Műemléki azonosító: 447. - Budapest. Erzsébet tér 9-10., Deák Ferenc tér 2., Deák Ferenc utca 16-18., Miatyánk utca 1.
