| Description |
English: Hotel Meridien. (Till end of 2015) The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest (since 2016). Allegorical statues on the building wall: 'Woman with jug' allegory of the glass damage insurance, 'Man with goose' allegory of the burglary (damage) insurance. All former statues destroyed and they are remodelled in 2001-2003 by Sándor Rétfalvi and István Fáskerti. This two located at the corner of Ferenc Deák Square, Erzsébet Square. - Budapest District V., Hungary Magyar: Hotel Meridien homlokzati szobrai közül az üvegbiztosítás (nő korsóval, Telcs Ede) és betörésbiztosítás (férfi libával, Telcs Ede) a képen. - Alkotók (az eredetieké) Rétfalvi Sándor, Telcs Ede, Ligeti Miklós, Fáskerti István (1913). Puciscei márvány. A biztosítás ágazatait szimbolizáló többi szobor a Deák Ferenc utcai homlokzaton a szavatosság (férfi mozdonnyal, Ligeti) és az elérési biztosítás (nő dobozzal, Ligeti), a Deák Ferenc tér felől a szállítmánybiztosítás (Mercur, Ligeti); az Erzsébet téri oldalon a hozománybiztosítás (nő értéktárgyakkal, Ligeti), a jégbiztosítás (nőalak, Telcs) és a tűzbiztosítás (Szt. Flórián, Telcs) szobrai; a Miatyánk utca felől a fonalat vágó Párka (életbiztosítás, Ligeti) és a sebét kötöző férfi (baleset biztosítás, Telcs) díszítette az épületet. A jelenlegi szobrok 2001-2003 között készültek Rétfalvi Sándor és Fáskerti István kőfaragó által. Az épület az Adria biztosító székháza volt; Szálloda. (Hotel Meridien, korábban ebben az épületben működött a Budapesti Rendőr-főkapitányság) Tőry Emil, Pogány Móric építészek tervei alapján, 1913-ban készült. Műemléki azonosító: 447. - Budapest, Erzsébet tér 9-10., Deák Ferenc tér 2., Deák Ferenc utca 16-18., Miatyánk utca 1.
