Summary[edit]
DescriptionHubble's Maps of Surface Features on Titan.jpg |
English: The Hubble Space Telescope created these images of Saturn's moon Titan, mapping light and dark features over the moon's surface during a near-complete 16-day rotation in 1994.
Titan is the only body in the solar system that may have oceans and rainfall — made up of ethane and methane rather than water — on its surface. For more information, visit: hubblesite.org/news_release/news/1994-55 Credit: University of Arizona Lunar and Planetary Laboratory; STScI |
