Summary[edit]

Description It was questioned on one of my previous postings, whether the Backburn greenway was AFM 1W, but that was AFM 5W. This is AFM 1W,which was built as the first productin greenway and operated for Hyndburn. The bus began life as a standard national 2, with Crosville, and became the first production Greenway in 1992. the bus also saw use as a demonstrator, and carried National Greenway lettering on the sides. My picture, however, shows it operating for tis host operator on the trunk service 4, picking up passengers in rawtenstall,en route from bacup to Accrington.
