Español: Esta iglesia es tal vez la que menor reformas o remodelaciones haya sufrido a lo largo de los siglos,y forma parte de las siete parroquias iniciales de la ciudad.
La iglesia de San Pedro fue construida en el siglo XIII y tiene motivos románicos en la portada y ábside, existiendo entre ellos una curiosa ventana ciega de estilo mudéjar toledano. Se trata de uno de los templos que con más nitidez se aprecia su pasado románico de comienzos del siglo XIII. Muy austera en su interior, destaca el retablo de la natividad que se ubica bajo el coro, así como la pila bautismal. La iglesia de San Pedro es de una sola planta y además del coro y de la cabecera con el ábside románico, en sus capillas laterales se encuentran las tallas de Jesús y de la Virgen Inmaculada que se utilizan como paso de Semana Santa. |
