Description
Español: La Iglesia de Santa Leocadia está situada en la ciudad de Toledo, en el lugar en el que, según la tradición, estaba la casa natal de la santa. De ella destaca su esbelta torre mudéjar, edificada en el siglo XIII.

De su fábrica original, de estilo mudéjar, se conservan parte de la portada y del ábside, destacando su esbelta torre mudéjar, edificada en el siglo XIII que copia, con pequeñas variaciones, el modelo de la torre de la Iglesia San Román, y que también se repite en Santo Tomé, San Miguel el Alto y en San Pedro Mártir, todas ellas en Toledo.


Estas torres están inspiradas en los alminares de las mezquitas musulmanas y su modelo tipológico es como sigue: basamento de piedra, cuerpo de mampostería encintada con ladrillos en los ángulos y un cuerpo de remate con dos o tres vanos de perfiles árabes para las campanas.
