Português: A Ilha de Algodoal Maiandeua é uma Área de Proteção Ambiental (APA), localizada no litoral nordeste do estado do Pará, no município de Maracanã, entre as coordenadas geográficas de 00° 35 03 a 00° 38 29 S e 47° 31 54 a 47° 34 57 W. A ilha é formada por quatro comunidades pesqueiras: Algodoal, Camboinha, Fortalezinha e Mocooca. Possui uma área de 2.378ha. Sua cobertura vegetal é constituída, predominantemente, por manguezais, apicuns, restingas e vegetação secundária.
