Description

I was driving down Black Dog Road when I saw a immature Bald Eagle flying low over the Minnesota River. I pulled over and watched it making practice dives at a stick floating in the river. I happened to take the photo just as the eagle was going in for real. However, from the looks of it, the young bird had already made a few splashes in the water.
