Summary[edit]
DescriptionIndependence National Historical Park (52656954656).jpg |
Independence National Historical Park, in Philadelphia, preserves several sites associated with the American Revolution and the nation's founding history. The park has been nicknamed "America's most historic square mile" because of its abundance of historic landmarks. We visited the park in July 1984. At the time we visited, this reconstructed building was the Marine Corp Memorial Museum. It is now the New Hall Military Museum, which includes information about he Continental Marines, Army, and Navy. |
