Description
Español: Ángel Della Valle nació en Buenos Aires en 1852. Realizó sus primeros estudios artísticos en esta ciudad y se perfeccionó en Florencia bajo la dirección de Ciseri. Desde su regreso a la Argentina se dedicó a la enseñanza artística en la academia de la Asociación Estímulo de Bellas Artes, donde formó alumnos de la categoría de Boggio, Daneri y Victorica. Simultáneamente, realizaba su obra de pintor retratista y autor de lienzos inspirados por el campo argentino. Participó de las exposiciones organizadas por el Ateneo, donde se distinguió con cuadros tales como La vuelta del malón (1892), que le dieron celebridad. Falleció en Buenos Aires en 1903.
