Français : Inscribed plaque - Plaque a décor floral et inscriptions cursives - Islamic art - Iran - vers 1564-1565 - Louvre museum - Inventaire MAO 2249 - Alliage de fer, décor ajouré - Le décor épigraphié est en thuluth, la calligraphie est inspirée de l'art des ornemanistes du ketabkhaneh (ateliers du livre) de la cour. Il se détache sur un fond de fins rinceaux floraux formés de petits quadrilobes, de fleurettes et de palmettes. Chaque élément végétal est à son tour ajouré, produisant un effet décoratif saisissant.
