Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Inside the Clifton Rock Tunnel During the Second World War, the BBC used these tunnels as an alternative location for transmitting it’s programs.

The top part of the tunnel was used by BOAC for their headquarters.

It was also used as an air raid shelter, and families slept on these concrete ledges.
