Summary[edit]

Description

A few miles North-west of Aberdeen, Scotland, lies the town of Inverurie. It's on the busy A96 road that links Aberdeen to such towns as Huntly, Elgin and Inverness, 100 miles away.

The view is North-west over the gently rolling countryside known locally as the Garioch (pronounced "Geery") and towards Huntly, 20 miles away, which is near the wind farm at the top-centre of the picture. Just visible at the top of the picture is the shoreline of the Moray Firth.
