Description
English: The upper side of the valve of the marine mollusc Iphigenia brasiliensis (Lamarck, 1818)[1]; photograph taken in São Miguel dos Milagres, Alagoas, Brazil. This is an edible species and lives between south half of Florida, United States, to brazilian coast, in shallow water. In english the name is giant false donax. In Brazil it is called maçunim or tarioba.
