Summary[edit]

Description
English: This is another photo of a home made spectroscope, made from a cardboard roll and cd. shot with a full spectrum camera to detect near infrared light being emitted by an artifical light bulb, to show that certain light bulbs emit infrared light as heat along with visible light. Infrared is frequencies of light below red. CDs can be used as a diffraction grating, because cds are optical storage, that bend and disperse light into a spectrum.
