| Description |
Deutsch: Der LESt-Wagen 257 von 1912, Typ 16, städtische Nummer 987, wurde 1929 in den Typ 27 umgebaut und 1955 nach Erfurt abgegeben. Nach seiner Rückführung aus Eisenach 1976 wurde er bis 2009 in den angenäherten Lieferzustand zurückgebaut. Die Druckluftbremse ist zwar erst nach 1917 eingebaut worden, doch war ihre Beibehaltung für den Betriebseinsatz notwendig. Das lange Weicheneisen ermöglicht, Weichen umzustellen, ohne abzusteigen. Die Triebwagen des Typs 16 waren die ersten in Leipzig mit Quersitzen in Abteilanordnung. Der dazugehörende Beiwagen 305, Typ 55I, hat zwar einen im Prinzip baugleichen Wagenkasten, durch die laufgestelllose Bauweise mit nur einstufiger Federung ist er jedoch insgesamt etwas niedriger. Die Höhe der Plattformen über SO ist gleich, doch bei den Triebwagen gibt es eine zusätzliche Stufe zum Innenraum. Die Triebwagen wurden mit seitlichen Schutzwänden an den Plattformen zwischen Einstiegen und Kasten ausgerüstet, diese gibt es bei den Beiwagen nicht. |
