Description
Deutsch: Bahnhof Leipzig Hbf, Weiche (51)31 Richtung Südwest, im Hintergrund liegen die Bahnsgteighallen; die aufwändige Konstruktion der Dreifachherzstücke ist der Hauptgrund für die vergleichsweise seltene Verwendung von Kreuzungsweichen mit außenliegenden Zungen. Ein Dreifachherzstück hat drei auf zwei Seiten befahrene Herzsstückspitzen. Bei einer einfachen Kreuzngsweiche mit außenliegenden Zungen entfällt eine der drei Spitzen, damit ist es ein Zweifachherzstück.
Die Herzstücke in Kreuzungsmitte, die zwei gegenüberliegende Spitzen aufweisen, die jedoch nur auf einer Seite befahren werden, sind dagegen Doppelherzstücke.
